WTS is conducting both 50-minute, online-only tutorials and 50 minute in-person tutorials. We use Zoom to facilitate online sessions, which are marked as "Online" before tutor names, and differ from "In-person" tutorials.
Zoom tutorials: Visit the online tutoring page on our website for more information about scheduling and participating in an online tutorial. You will make appointments on this schedule. If possible, please attach your paper and assignment sheet to the appointment. After you schedule your appointment and before your session, your tutor will set up a Zoom appointment with you. The Zoom URL and password will be accessible in the appointment form and e-mailed to you. Please make sure that you've opted in to receiving e-mails from us so that you can receive this Zoom information as well as any notes about your tutorial (if not, you can edit your profile). If you don't receive this e-mail an hour before your tutorial, check your junk/spam folder or return to your appointment (orange box on the schedule) to retrieve the URL and password.
In-person tutorials: Please arrive 5 minutes before your tutorial time with your paper, assignment sheet, and materials printed. There are printing stations available in Wells Library. We will seat you in the Learning Commons and notify your tutor. Sessions begin on the hour. Please keep in mind that it is WTS policy to cancel "no-show" appointments ten minutes after the hour, so please be sure to plan accordingly.
